Dr. Stephen Wengam, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, has been appointed as the Chairman of the newly inaugurated Governing Council of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS). Furthermore, from 2009 to 2013, his leadership in strategic planning for infrastructure within the Prisons Service demonstrated his capability in managing complex structures and implementing comprehensive reform programs.

Rev. Dr. Wengam’s educational background complements his extensive experience. He holds a degree in Administration (Marketing) from the University of Ghana and has furthered his education with a Master’s in Theology. Additionally, he possesses a Diploma in Christian Clinical Counselling from the International Theological Seminary in the USA. This diverse academic portfolio equips him with a unique perspective, blending faith-based principles with practical administrative skills.
